superpower, human song, bunnies (w/ mimi), what i sawPolly is seemingly a version of the early 2000's animated mascot Polly the Bunny, created by the music distribution label "MP3eez" to sell songs with animated wallpapers, ringtones and compilation CDs. During this time, in her distant memories, she only remembers sitting in a void, continuously watching her own videos over and over, wishing she could be the animated counterpart of her likeness, experiencing those thoughts and feelings for herself... everything outside of that past life is foggy.She awoke one day, hatched from a BLACKSTAR (star-shaped eggs that hatch RELICs), now a RELIC (a forgotten thought/object given life through the power of the BACKEND). for the past 18 years, Polly has wondered her room in the BACKEND, an eternal supernatural residence for all objects and ideas entirely forgotten or lost by humanity, all separated by countless, endless doors that go on as far as the eye can see. She is no longer on the earth, nor in heaven, confined to a plane unknown to all except those who speak to her through her laptop (provided to her by multicolored beams that shoot through the sky, as do most forgotten objects born from a BLACKSTAR).Over the last 2 decades, Polly has gained, lost, and taken advantage of connections to friends over the internet to save her from boredom (and crisis) in this endless space... but never has been able to even see the face of an online passer-by, alone in the BACKEND for as long as she exists....until December of 2023, when a cracked 3ds system hatched from a BLACKSTAR, once again beamed from the sky. Polly, inquisitive, opens the system not to be greeted with a game or menu, but rather a functioning video chat system, seeing none other than Mimi on the other side. Desperate for freedom, Polly uses this new device to search far and wide for someone to truly remember her for who she truly is (a mystery even she isn't fully aware of), freeing herself from the BACKEND once and for all.

Tyler the Creator - IGOR (2019)songs: the entirety of 'open me', money song, good.., another regret, self-identify, twenty nineteen girlIn 2022, Rika was an semi-ordinary Jersey girl, adorned with fake bunny ears and a tail, as to affirm her internal desire of becoming the animal she's always wanted to be... frequently bullied in her childhood for being a "freak" and "nerd" (she's a little bit of a loser), she put on a false ego that she maintained until her high school days, becoming a shell of herself (confident, cocky, a bit of an asshole) to please her peers, only now wearing her bunny ears as what she tells her friends are " beauty accessories".One day, Rika's emotions break, as she runs home to cry, paralyzed in her bedsheets. Something changes in her, as she once more yearns for something greater. On the same night, a wormhole opens through the mirror of her bedroom, leading to the WAVELENGTH, an extremely unstable room in the BACKEND. Appearing from the other side was Bunnymouth, the WAVELENGTH's sole inhabitant.Originally intending to close this unstable wormhole, Bunnymouth decides to console the girl it sees crying on the other side of the mirror. This initial meeting becomes a ritual, as over the course of 1 entire year, every day after school, Rika would come home and vent her feelings out to Bunnymouth, feeling a deep trust in it (despite the fact it hadn't even revealed it's full name yet) before putting her emotional mask back on yet again the next day, heading back to school. Bunnymouth began to worry about the consequences of keeping a wormhole in the BACKEND open this long..At the beginning of 2023, January felt very cold and lonely.. Bunnymouth turned around less and less. After an extremely turbulent night & a drug trip that terrified her into a paranoid episode, Rika came home desperate for someone to bring her feelings to. Despite Bunnymouth's frequent warnings to never step forth on the other side of the open wormhole, Rika decides to take the plunge, entering the WAVELENGTH, discovering the dangers of a human entering the BACKEND.as she plunged through the deep waters of the WAVELENGTH, Rika's body began to disappear, as her existence undid itself, reverting to the form of a BLACKSTAR. Spotting this, panicked and pained, Bunnymouth holds Rika's BLACKSTAR form tightly in it's hands, allowing Rika to be reborn, given a second chance. Due to the effects of the BACKEND's distortion, when her body was reformed, she now had the form she truly desired internally (what the BACKEND bases a living form on), and after 5 long years, she was finally a BUNNY.Terrified of what the world could think of her, she decides to hide from the world, putting on a mask & beanie in public, hiding her tails tightly, and mostly becoming a shut-in. But the future is scary, and as much as she tries to run, the problems she has in her life are coming toward her rapidly. In the album 'Pollyanna', she'll be forced to SELF-IDENTIFY... settling her relationship with Bunnymouth once and for all, as well as her future as the bunny she truly is, beginning work on her first album, "Open Me (Thru Stunted Waves; Hold Me In Morning Hues)".

Since a young child, she's been hiding her antenna in flaps on the sides of her ears, less ashamed of who she is, but rather what she isn't. Just like Rika, Mimi deals with her own dysphoria, hurt by relationships in her childhood where she was taken advantage of by her peers, as well as people older than her.Deciding it'd be easier than outright revealing herself, she pretends she's cosplaying, or wearing a costume, rather than revealing who she truly is to those around her, knowing that telling others she was a truly special being would cause nothing but disaster in her life. Eventually, when she did, she was chastised, and despite promises otherwise, behind closed doors, she was unable to truly be as close as she was in the past to any of her friends, as most cut her off in fear. Due to this, she feels hidden, unable to escape the shadow of what's happened to her in her past. In 2024, being accepted to a big art school in the area, Mimi moves to Portland, Oregon, far from her hometown in New Jersey. Given a chance to start anew with those who didn't know her identity.Mimi takes up clubbing regularily, finding it a distraction inbetween her paintings she crafts for her schoolwork, as well as an escape from her thoughts.. she attempts to see a therapist in the area after getting a tip from a friend, but has trouble opening up from them, deciding it's better to hide and run away than risk what happened last time she opened up, battling honesty and internal confrontation with who she really wants to be.On her way home from this session, she decides to open up her old 3DS to play some older games she felt nostalgic for, as a crutch to take her mind off her self-hatred. As she flipped on the system, she was not greeted with a game nor menu, but rather a Video Chat, with Polly waiting on the other side.And so, Mimi enters her time in art school with a new friend, yet a major tendency to suppress her true feelings and PTSD. Will she succumb to her past, or will she find her true identity and calling?

Moderators are the only beings that can truly access any room in the BACKEND, as typically residents of the backend cannot leave their room unless permitted.Bunnymouth is not it's real identity, refusing to tell anyone it's true name outside of the other BACKEND moderator it is close with for unknown reasons. Cloaked in whimsy, yet deep mystery, Bunnymouth is a complicated individual, acting out of good faith, yet deeply commited to helping as many people as it can.Bunnymouth resides in the WAVELENGTH, a room in the BACKEND that it didn't originally reside in, but decided to move into due to it's high risk-level instability if not supervised, creating various wormholes leading to several spots on earth in hours and sinking any object it consumes, then turning it into a BLACKSTAR. One day while cleaning up these wormholes, it meets Rika, as the events previous mentioned took place over the course of 2022. Now, in 2024, it returns to the wormhole it created for Rika to close it for the final time, ready to move on with her life. What will come out of Rika and Bunnymouth's final interaction?

-----------------------------------Desc.i've lost and gained a lot in the last year. i graduated high school since open me, dealt with a lot of hard choices, and in the process met a group of people i finally felt comfortable around. I felt like the ending that open me left off on was very definitive and perfect; and i wanted to correct that by making sort of a 'status update' album. little did i know that it would turn into another 2 years of trying to make another grand representation of my issues..i don't think i'm a perfect person, and i made a lot of mistakes in the last two years, but this album is a way of talking about those imperfections. in the past, i pretended that they didn't exist & i brushed my worst mistakes under the rug, but i wanted to do my best to confront them and display them in the most potent way i knew possible.the first half of this album (hypocrite-good) was mostly written in 2024, and everything after is a lot more recent, reflecting on a lot of the personal discoveries i've made in the last year, and a lot of the lessons i've learned along the way.i worked through a lot of paranoid episodes, anxiety & panic attacks to finish this album, even at points feeling like scrapping the whole project altogether. but in the end i was able to finish it.i'm a dog, i'm a bunny, and we're pollyanna <3 <3 <3 <3 thank you for all the support ; this project might not be for everyone, but i hope you all enjoy it nonethelesscreated between 10/19/2023 - 10/24/2025 in north carolina, new jersey, and portland, OR.
