Unfortunately, after a lengthy 9 years, the success of the ever-popular iTunes had overshadowed the site, forcing MP3eez into becoming defunct, the site shutting down in May of 2008. As Polly's conscious faded into the depths of the internet, she wandered for years for a home. As she became further detached from the site she was created for, she began to ask herself various questions. 'am i real?', 'am i my true self?', and most importantly, 'have i ever had a family?'. After years of watching the growth of the internet from a third person view, longing for love herself, she stumbles across a group of people that finally make her feel at home, and she finally gets a chance at becoming real. Will she take it?

The Postal Service - Give UpMimi is a dog desperate for affection; navigating a period of her life she considers a 'metamorphic' stage in her life. Finally in a state to heal, in seeking relation, she finds her other Half, a bunny named polly from through the screen. The two check in as they go through their own phases in life, supporting eachother along the way. Mimi is a character riddled with lots of insecurities and anxieties, manifesting in a fear of abandonment and failure. She works through these anxieties with her friends and family, as she learns to love herself and the world around her! She loves art, values friendship, and vows to never abandon the inner child she loves dearly.

-----------------------------------Desc.i've lost and gained a lot in the last year. i graduated high school since open me, dealt with a lot of hard choices, and in the process met a group of people i finally felt comfortable around. I felt like the ending that open me left off on was very definitive and perfect; and i wanted to correct that by making sort of a 'status update' album. little did i know that it would turn into another 2 years of trying to make another grand representation of my issues..i don't think i'm a perfect person, and i made a lot of mistakes in the last two years, but this album is a way of talking about those imperfections. in the past, i pretended that they didn't exist & i brushed my worst mistakes under the rug, but i wanted to do my best to confront them and display them in the most potent way i knew possible.the first half of this album (hypocrite-good) was mostly written in 2024, and everything after is a lot more recent, reflecting on a lot of the personal discoveries i've made in the last year, and a lot of the lessons i've learned along the way.i worked through a lot of paranoid episodes, anxiety & panic attacks to finish this album, even at points feeling like scrapping the whole project altogether. but in the end i was able to finish it.i'm a dog, i'm a bunny, and we're pollyanna <3 <3 <3 <3 thank you for all the support ; this project might not be for everyone, but i hope you all enjoy it nonethelesscreated between 10/19/2023 - 10/24/2025 in north carolina, new jersey, and portland, OR.
